This summer will be as much about raising the bottom bar as it is about raising the top bar. AC Milan have to return to winning ways; to do so, some sales have to be made.
Despite several players who can leave not being present last year, Milan have a duty to set Massimiliano Allegri up with the best possible squad. To do that, difficult sales have to be made, especially with exact profiles sought.
Then, there is the case of complying with financial situations. After all, the Rossoneri are looking at a Europe-less season, which creates a huge hole in the accounts. Of course, it can be contended with, but it has to be managed nearly perfectly.
Outcast boost
Tijjani Reijnders has already left, whilst Theo Hernandez will seemingly be the next out the door. However, the Diavolo also have some, with respect, smaller players that can provide boosts to the budget, and interest is present, as Matteo Moretto stated last night, via @garante_il on X.
“I want to tell you about four names being monitored by Sassuolo, which are among the top names for Sassuolo to strengthen the team. For the midfield, there are Pobega and Adli. For the attack, there are the names of Simeone from Napoli and Lorenzo Colombo from Milan.”
