Gabriel Jesus may have been proposed to AC Milan in the last few days, as Matteo Moretto puts it, but that doesn’t mean the Arsenal striker is a target of the club.
Milan have reinforced their attacking department with Niclas Füllkrug, who successfully underwent his medical tests earlier this week, but the striker links haven’t stopped because of that. One of the players who has been mentioned lately is Arsenal’s Gabriel Jesus.
Gianluigi Longari of SportItalia was the first to break the news last week, but it was later confirmed by other sources. However, right off the bat, it was made clear that the Rossoneri had doubts about the player, which has seemingly prompted them to look elsewhere.
Jesus rumours shut down
In his latest YouTube video, Matteo Moretto responded to the rumours linking Gabriel Jesis with Milan. While there have been indirect contacts, as he described it, the Rossoneri don’t consider the Brazilian striker a target for January.
“In recent days, Gabriel Jesus has been heavily linked with Milan. Maybe he was proposed, maybe there was some indirect contact through intermediaries.
“I absolutely don’t want to deny this, but what I can say is that Gabriel Jesus isn’t among the strikers evaluated by Milan. He isn’t a target,” he stated.
