The San Siro sale is a difficult one for many reasons. However, it is not impossible, with AC Milan and Inter getting some help.
By now, it should be no surprise that Milan and sorting a stadium is difficult. This has been the story for years now, and it would be unreasonable to assume that there will not be doubts over the current situation.
Reports, recently, have suggested that the Rossoneri and their city rivals, Inter, have put in a bid for the stadium. However, there has been a lot of pressure against the sale of the stadium, causing things to slow a little.
Sala’s support
With all this, things have not come to a halt and the two clubs, today, have been given a huge aid. This afternoon, MilanPress report that Mayor Beppe Sala is not hesitating with the sale, he believes ‘the path is clear and must be followed’.
So, for this reason, he hopes to press ahead with the sale, regardless of the legal storm that surrounds the proceedings currently. The judiciary and Democratic Party would prefer a more cautious approach, but Sala’s mind seems to be made up.
A meeting took place last night to refine the agreement, and it is hoped that this can be presented to the council on Monday.
