MP: Milan squad resume training – Allegri hopeful to have Pulisic and Jimenez back

Some good news has arrived regarding the condition of Christian Pulisic, who missed the last preseason games due to injury.

There were two notable absentees from the squad that flew out to Dublin for the friendlies against Leeds United and Chelsea (in London). Alex Jimenez and Pulisic stayed back in Italy, with particular concern about the American after he suffered a knock to his ankle in the game against Liverpool.

As MilanPress report, Milan resume training today after returning from London. This afternoon, the Rossoneri will return to Milanello for a session as preparation begins for the Coppa Italia round of 32 game against Bari on Sunday.

After a week of training with Milan Futuro, Alex Jimenez is back with the rest of the squad. Pulisic is expected to be available again after the ankle injury that kept him out of the two friendlies against Leeds and Chelsea, given he seems to be doing better.

While waiting for the official photos to show whether either or both trained in full with the team, it would certainly be a boost for Massimiliano Allegri to have the two wide man back for the start of the new campaign.
