Robert Lewandowski is becoming a name of extreme interest for AC Milan, and the Polish striker could join in the summer.
Mike Maignan will be one of the biggest free agents next summer, but he will not be the only one, and Milan will be active in the mercato, it seems. Lewandowski, one of the best strikers of the past generation, will be available, it seems.
The Polish international has scored goals for fun wherever he has gone, and like Luka Modric, he could swap Spain for Serie A.
Clues on Lewandowski’s future
There have been contrasting reports recently, and no decision will be made for a while yet, it seems. However, that does not mean that hints about a decision are not present.

As Mundo Deportivo reports, if the striker were to leave the club in the summer, it would free up €40 million in the FFP regulations, meaning Barcelona could sign someone else. In fact, the report states that they could ‘acquire a top-tier’ option.
Julian Alvarez, Harry Kane, Serhou Guirassy and Victor Osimhen are on their list, and each would require a significant investment. In other words, they all point towards Lewandowski leaving for their arrival to be funded.
