A move could be made for a €20 million valued Girona defender by AC Milan, but they are not the only ones considering a move.
The mercato only just closed, and already there is talk about the next business. Of course, the window remains open for some still, and the Rossoneri could profit from that twice. Ismael Bennacer has already left, and Yacine Adli is also on his way out of Milan.
Though they will not have the chance to sign anyone else until the Winter mercato, if not the summer. Planning, as you would expect, has already begun, and a summer target could be considered again.
Martinez for Milan?
As Mundo Deportivo reports, the Diavolo are part of a three-team group that are considering a move for Girona’s right-back Arnau Martinez. The Spaniard, who is valued at €20m by the La Liga outfit, is being tracked by three Italian clubs, including Massimiliano Allegri’s side, as well as Napoli and Juventus.
His deal is set to expire in 2027, which could mean that a purchase can be completed for less than what is being requested from the side. However, the circumstances, for Milan at least, could dictate things, given they are without a senior right back.
