AC Milan are expected to complete the signing of El Hadji Malick Cissé in the coming days, another source has confirmed.
La Gazzetta dello Sport reported out of nowhere on Saturday that Milan are close to signing El Hadji Malick Cissé, a Senegalese central defender born in 2008 who played in the Under-17 World Cup in Qatar in November. Both Barcelona and RB Leipzig had been keeping tabs on him.
Cissé deal done
Fabrizio Romano has now confirmed the news, tweeting: “AC Milan sealed the agreement to sign El Hadji Malick Cissé for their U23 side Milan Futuro. Senegalese CB will land in Milano next week for medical and signatures.”
In a video on his YouTube channel, Romano and Matteo Moretto confirmed that the defender is very close to becoming a Milan player. An agreement has practically been reached, and the medical should indeed take place next week.

El Hadj Malick Cissé was born in 2008 and is already turning heads with him performances for the youth national team. He currently plays in his homeland at the Be Sport Academy in Dakar, the capital of the country that recently won the African Cup of Nations.
Cissé was a key figure for Senegal in November’s U17 World Cup as captain and starter in all three group matches (also scoring a goal against the United Arab Emirates) and in the round of 32 loss against Uganda.
