With defensive reinforcements wanted, AC Milan had considered a move for Kim Min-Jae. However, it seems that a move will not be possible.
Defenders are the big topic for Milan this month in terms of incomings. Mario Gila’s name has been floated around, but his price is far too high for a January move. He is not the only option on the mercato, though.
Unfortunately, it seems that the Rossoneri may face a similar fate when trying to sign others, with finances and timings playing a big part in the window.
Another setback
One route that was considered a possibility was towards Bayern Munich defender Kim, but it seems that this has been closed. Fabrizio Romano offered an update on the situation, and it certainly was not positive for the Diavolo, as PianetaMilan relays.
“Apart from AC Milan’s interest, it may be a dream, but Bayern doesn’t want to risk important pieces of a team that is doing very well. Losing Kim would be losing an important piece. That’s not the intention at the moment.”
He is not the only option left, and January is a long month; anything can happen.
