Luka Modric was named the MOTM in AC Milan’s 2-1 win against Pisa by every outlet, as you would expect, and there were no disagreements on the flop either.
Milan needed to clinch all three points to keep up with Inter in the Scudetto race, and that’s exactly what they did. However, it was far from an easy game for the Rossoneri, with Luka Modric forced to step up with an 85th-minute winner.
Naturally, the Croatian was heavily praised afterwards and all of the newspapers named him the MOTM; so did we. The flop, meanwhile, was definitely Niclas Fullkrug as he missed a penalty that, if converted, would have made the evening a lot easier (scoreline was 0-1 then).
Other ratings of note include the ones given to Fikayo Tomori (5.5 and 5), who was unusually shaky at the back, and Zachary Athekame (6.5 from both), who impressed with a great assist for Loftus-Cheek. Below, you find all of the ratings from Gazzetta dello Sport and Corriere dello Sport.
