Milan Futuro head coach Massimo Oddo was very happy with the way that his side performed in a ‘deserved’ win over Oltrepò.
Victor Eletu got the opener and Diego Sia netted a late winner after Oltrepò had equalised, with the Futuro prevailing 2-1 this afternoon. It came after they got the better of Folgore Caratese in a five-goal thriller last weekend, so there is some momentum building.
Oddo spoke to Milan TV after the full-time whistle to give his thoughts on what was another satisfactory win in the league, one that propels his side into sixth place in the table.
How do you think the game went?
“We played good football, an excellent first half where perhaps we weren’t concrete enough. In the second half, as often happens, we had a blackout moment. There are times when you have to do simple things and stay calm.”
Was it a significant performance?
“I’d say it’s a deserved victory, thanks in part to the substitutions that helped us. We’re on the right track, we just have to keep working.”
