The summer transfer window closed on Monday night, but AC Milan have announced another addition in Ablaye Samb Thioune.
Milan Futuro suffered relegation to Serie D ahead of the 2025-26 season and as a result there was a lot of squad overhaul to get them ready for a campaign in the fourth division. Now, another new face has arrived.
A statement on the official website reads: “AC Milan has officially signed Ablaye Samb Thioune, who joins the Rossoneri as part of the Milan Futuro Project, an initiative dedicated to nurturing and developing young talent. The midfielder, born in 2009, has committed his future to our colours.”
Earlier in the window Milan announced the signing of Mattia Piermarini, who joins from Serie C side Ascoli. That came after the addition of Berkay Karaca from Schalke 04, plus Dino Kurbegović.
Then of course there was the remarkable story of Cheveyo Balentien, who signed from ADO Den Haag and made his senior debut against Lecce just days later.
