AC Milan have announced a new signing for the Futuro project, with Aron Babaj joining from Kosovan team KF Prishtina e Re.
There have been several links to young players so far this month, and it seems that Milan are putting a lot of focus into the Futuro. Of course, it has been a plan to add young players when opportunities arrive, so it is no shock.
Andrej Kostic’s arrival seems to have been put on hold, but another Montenegrin talent could also arrive this month, with reports linking the Rossoneri to Lazar Savovic.
Babaj arrives at Milan
Today, though, a signing was made with Babaj arriving from the Superliga e Kosoves, which is the first flight of Kosovo. It certainly seems that there is a greater focus on shopping from home nations, rather than players who are already playing away from home.
The statement on the club’s website confirms his arrival. Good luck and Forza Milan, Aron!
“AC Milan are pleased to announce the acquisition of Aron Babaj, who will join the Milan Futuro Project, an initiative dedicated to the growth and development of young talents. The 2009-born midfielder has decided to join the Rossoneri.”
