AC Milan have confirmed the signing of Cheveyo Balentien from ADO Den Haag, who will join Milan Futuro for the new season.

The 18-year-old plays predominantly on the right side and has been in the academy at the Dutch club for a few years now. He scored four goals in 25 games for the U17s, then netting five goals in 19 games for the U18s.

He made his senior debut in August last year, coming off the bench in Den Haag’s 5-1 win over Willem II, but now has made the leap to join Milan.

A statement on the official website reads: “AC Milan is delighted to announce the signing of Cheveyo Balentien from ADO Den Haag, where he has spent the last few seasons in the youth sector and has now chosen to join the Rossoneri.

“The right-winger, born in 2006, will be involved in the Milan Futuro project, an initiative dedicated to the growth and development of young talents.”
