AC Milan, this afternoon, have confirmed that Vittorio Magni has left the club permanently to join Serie B side Cesena, where he was already on loan.
Magni left Milan in the middle of August, seeking more game time, so he headed to Cesena in the second tier. However, he has not really found much space in the team, playing only seven times so far this season.
Despite this, the Northern club have activated the option to buy, which was included in his loan contract when he left in the summer.
Initially, there was no talk of the deal being possibly permanent, with the Rossoneri hoping to see him develop. In fact, there had even been some comparisons to Mattia De Sciglio, due to his versatility. However, this is, of course, no longer the case.
Magni leaves Milan
This afternoon, Magni’s permanent departure was confirmed by the club on their website, with the following statement.
“AC Milan announces that they have definitively sold the right to the sporting performances of the footballer Vittorio Magni to Cesena FC. The Club wishes Vittorio the best satisfaction for the Sports Season.”
The 19-year-old played 106 times for the club across the youth teams, as well as making 17 appearances for Milan Futuro last season. All the best, Vittorio!
