AC Milan, today, have announced the signing of Pervis Estupinan from Brighton and Hove Albion. A deal that has been wrapped up quickly.
Things with Estupinan progressed rapidly, with Milan making their intent known quite quickly. In fact, negotiations were rather short, with the Rossoneri keen to not lose another target this summer after losing Maxim De Cuyper and Archie Brown.
The Ecuadorian full-back arrives to replace Theo Hernandez, after struggling to cement a place with Brighton after a phenomenal start to life in England. However, there are certainly concerns about his ability to stay fit.
Estupinan: Done
Today, the club have announced that the deal was done on their website, with the defender set to join his teammates in Asia for the pre-season tour shortly. Having signed a five-year deal, there is a lot of faith placed in the defender, and the rush to sign him deserves praise.
According to reports, the deal closed under the €20 million mark, which is a few million short of the original request from the Premier League outfit. Again, another point of praise for the transfer department.

After arriving in Milano on Wednesday to sign the contract and complete his medical, his move has now been made official.
