This afternoon, AC Milan have announced the signing of Mattia Piermarini, who joins from Serie C side Ascoli.
Despite their relegation to Serie D, Milan are looking to continue funding the Futuro project. So far, there can be no denying that it has been a failure. However, the plans are to continue with faith in the future.
One signing has already been made this week, with Berkay Karaca joining the group earlier. Now, that has risen to two signings.
Milan Futuro’s new signing
In a statement this afternoon, it was confirmed that Piermarini, a defender born in 2006, had chosen the Rossoneri.
“AC Milan are pleased to announce the permanent acquisition of Mattia Piermarini, who will be part of the Milan Future Project, an initiative dedicated to the growth and development of young talent. The defender, born in 2006, arrives from Ascoli Calcio 1898 FC and has chosen to commit to the Rossoneri colours.”
