Official: AC Milan sign Alphadjo Cissè from Hellas Verona on permanent deal

AC Milan have officially confirmed the signing of Alphadjo Cissè on a permanent deal from Hellas Verona.

A statement on the club’s official website reads: “AC Milan is delighted to announce the permanent signing of Alphadjo Cissè from Hellas Verona. The midfielder, born in 2006, with continue his loan spell at US Catanzaro until the end of the season.”

Born in Treviso on 22 October 2006, Cissè played in the youth sectors of Giorgione and Hellas Verona. With the latter he began to work his way up the ranks, and in 2023-24 he scored 16 goals for the Primavera side. His senior Serie A debut for Verona came in May 2024.

Cissè represented Italy’s Under-16, Under-18, and Under-19 national teams, and most recently was promoted to playing in the U21s. The forward has made two appearances with them.

Matteo Moretto reported over the weekend that that Milan will pay €8m plus an additional €1.5m in bonuses for Cissè. In other words, it’s a significant investment and similar to the one the Rossoneri made for David Odogu in the summer.
