Primavera defender Fredrik Nissen has left AC Milan and joined AIK in Sweden, it has been confirmed.

In a statement on their official website, AIK Fotboll confirm they have reached an agreement to sign Nissen on a permanent deal. During the previous season, the 20-year-old played a total of 24 games for the Primavera, and he has signed a contract until 2029 with the Stockholm club.

Fredrik Wisur Hansen, AIK Football’s Head of scouting and recruitment, said: “Fredrik is a player we have been following for a long time, and when the opportunity arose to bring him back to Stockholm, there was no hesitation on our part.

“He is a smart centre-back who is both good with his feet and has a good eye for the game. He also has enormous physical potential, including his height and strength, which we will work hard to further refine in our environment.”

The player added: “It feels very good to finally be here in AIK, it has been in the works for a while and to now be part of this historic club feels great.

“As a Stockholmer, I already have a good understanding of the club and now I am looking forward to putting on the black and yellow shirt and giving everything for the emblem on my chest.”

Nissen was signed by the Rossoneri from Brommapojkarna in the 2023 summer transfer window, and departs after a couple of seasons at the club.
