AC Milan will close our the round of Serie A action on Tuesday night with a potentially tricky trip to face Bologna.
Milan go into the game at the Stadio Renato dall’Ara under pressure to win with Inter, Napoli and Juventus all getting three points over the weekend. After failing to get a deadline day move for Jean-Philippe Mateta done, Massimiliano Allegri’s side will battle a crisis in attack too.

Alexis Saelemaekers and Christian Pulisic have not made the trip to Emilia with both battling muscle issues. Santiago Gimenez will also be out as he continues to recover from surgery, while Rafael Leao and Niclas Füllkrug only make the bench.
As a consquence, Allegri tested and has opted to use the unprecedented front two of Ruben Loftus-Cheek just behind Christopher Nkunku. Zachary Athekame comes in on the right side for Saelemaekers, his first league start, with Davide Bartesaghi on the other side.
Adrien Rabiot, Luka Modric and Youssouf Fofana have been selected as the midfield trio ahead of Koni De Winter, Matteo Gabbia and Strahinja Pavlovic in defence. Mike Maignan – fresh off a renewal until 2031 – is the captain and goalkeeper.
Official Milan XI (3-5-1-1): Maignan; De Winter, Gabbia, Pavlovic; Athekame, Fofana, Modric, Rabiot, Bartesaghi; Loftus-Cheek; Nkunku.
Bench: Torriani, Terracciano; Tomori, Odogu, Estupinan; Ricci, Jashari; Leao, Fullkrug.
