Lega Serie A have officially confirmed the dates and times for matchdays 25 and 26, as well as the rescheduled game between AC Milan and Como (matchday 24).
The scheduling of games has come under scrutiny in recent weeks, with Milan playing two games in just 66 hours. Furthermore, the Rossoneri’s home game against Como had to be rescheduled due to the inauguration of the Winter Olympics at San Siro.
The initial plan was to play the game in Australia, believe it or not, but that idea was eventually scrapped after heavy backlash from most parties. Now, a date has at least been found for the game as well as the upcoming rounds.
Schedule now confirmed
As confirmed by Lega Serie A earlier this morning, Pisa-Milan will be played on a Friday, while Milan-Parma will be played on a Sunday. Since Milan-Como was rescheduled, it will be played mid-week on a Wednesday.
- Matchday 25, Pisa vs. AC Milan: Friday 13 February at 20:45 CET (DAZN)
- Matchday 26, AC Milan vs. Parma: Sunday 22 February at 18.00 CET (DAZN/Sky Sport/NOW)
- Matchday 24, AC Milan vs. Como: Wednesday 18 February at 20:45 CET (DAZN)
The next game, which is against Bologna, has already been confirmed for some time. It’s a bit strange that it will be played on Tuesday next week rather than this weekend, but perhaps the fact that Milan won’t play next weekend influenced the decision.
