AC Milan have announced that Filippo Plazzotta has become the latest to put pen to paper on a senior contract.
Plazzotta graduated to the Primavera during the summer, and he has made five appearances in the league for Giovanni Renna’s side so far. He has two goal contributions (one goal, one assist) from a central midfield role too, and is tipped for a bright future.
A statement on the official website has confirmed the news, and it reads as follows: “AC Milan announces that Filippo Plazzotta has signed his first professional contract.
“The midfielder born in 2008 will continue to be part of the Milan Futuro Project, an initiative dedicated to the growth and development of young talents.”
In the past few weeks and months, the likes of Matteo Geroli, Astin Mbaye, Fabio Pandolfi, Simon La Mantia and Victor Eletu all committed their future to the club by signing new deals. The most recent was Lorenzo Ossola, currently starring for the Primavera.
