US Cremonese have confirmed the signing of Filippo Terracciano from AC Milan on an initial loan deal that could become permanent.
Terracciano started in Milan’s friendly defeat against Chelsea on Sunday afternoon in London, but after landing back in Italy he headed straight for a medical with the newly-promoted side. He departs the club after just 18 months in which he rarely got playing time.
Terraciano to Cremonese: Now official
A statement on Milan’s website reads: “AC Milan can confirm the transfer of the player Filippo Terracciano to US Cremonese on loan, with an obligation to make the deal permanent upon meeting certain conditions.
“The Club thanks Filippo for his professionalism and commitment and wishes him the very best for his personal and professional future.”
On their website, Cremonese write: “US Cremonese announces that it has acquired the sporting performances of the footballer Filippo Terracciano from AC Milan on a temporary basis, with an obligation to permanently acquire the player if certain conditions are met.”

The Verona-born defender came through the youth academy at local club Hellas and earned several call-ups for the Gialloblu first team at a very young age, eventually making his debut in the Coppa Italia and Serie A in the 2021-22 season.
From there, he steadily carved out a place for the Gialloblu’s senior side, appearing in 41 matches in all competitions. He then earned a move to Milan in January 2024, where he would go on to appear in the Champions League for the first time.
Capable of playing on both flanks and even as a midfielder if needed, the Grigiorosso have signed someone with versatility and league experience to try and help them stay in the top flight following their return.
