AC Milan boss Massimiliano Allegri has named his team for this afternoon’s game against Fiorentina at the Stadio Artemio Franchi.

Milan dropped points on Thursday night at San Siro against Genoa, continuing their trend of struggling against struggling sides. It was a game that took place less than 70 hours ago and that has taken its toll, so Allegri has decided to add some fresh legs.

The coach has decided stick with his 3-5-2 formation. Koni De Winter comes in for the suspended Fikayo Tomori in the three-man defence, alongside Matteo Gabbia and Strahinja Pavlovic. Mike Maignan will be between the posts, wearing the captain’s armband too.

Alexis Saelemaekers and Pervis Estupinan are the wing-backs which means that Davide Bartesaghi gets a breather. Ruben Loftus-Cheek, Ardon Jashari and Adrien Rabiot (who was a doubt due to a knock) are the trio in midfield.

Niclas Füllkrug gets his first start since arriving at the club after two cameos off the bench and he partners Christian Pulisic. Rafael Leao and Christopher Nkunku are on the bench, meaning there are some options to call upon.
