The midfielder Ayyoub Bouaddi has signed a new contract with Lille, thus cooling the rumours linking him with both AC Milan and Juventus in Italy.
It was back in November 2024 that Milan were first mentioned in the same sentence as Bouaddi. Paulo Fonseca was the coach of the Rossoneri then, and having joined the club from Lille, he was a big admirer of the now 18-year-old.
Since then, Milan have been linked with the player on and off, with their scouts clearly keeping an eye on his development. Just two months ago, Tuttosport reported that Milan and Juventus were both eyeing ‘the new Rabiot’, as they labelled Bouaddi.
New contract signed
As announced by Lille last night, Bouaddi has signed a new contract with the club, taking the deadline from 2027 to 2029. This certainly means that the French side will have more power in any potential negotiations, able to request a transfer fee.
Calciomercato.com has added that Paris Saint-Germain are keeping a close eye on the youngster as well, which could make things difficult for Milan and Juventus. We will have to wait and see if anything changes in the summer, although the Rossoneri’s interest remains just that for now, an interest.
