Another young talent has committed his future to AC Milan, with Mattia Cappelletti having put pen to paper on a new deal.
A statement on the official website reads as follows: “AC Milan is delighted to announce the renewal of Mattia Cappelletti’s contract. Born in 2007, the defender has been with the Rossoneri for eight seasons and will continue to be involved in the Milan Futuro project, an initiative dedicated to the growth and development of young talents.”
Cappelletti is an 18-year-old right-back who has been capped by Italy at various youth national team levels up to the U19s. He was born in Milan and currently starts for Massimo Oddo’s Primavera side, with four goal contributions to his name in 19 Serie D games.
He is without doubt one of the talents who would be considered closest to breaking through, and he joins Matteo Geroli, Astin Mbaye, Fabio Pandolfi, Simon La Mantia, Victor Eletu and Lorenzo Ossola among others, who all signed their first professional contracts in recent months.
