AC Milan have confirmed that Victor Eletu has committed his future to the club with the signing of a new two-year deal.
For weeks it seemed as though Eletu was destined to leave Milan, with his contract expiring and a difficult 2024-25 campaign behind him due to a lengthy injury absence. It would have been a blow, given how highly regarded he is within the youth sector.
Then, Di Marzio reported that the Nigerian has in fact done a U-turn on the plan to depart and was instead set to pen a renewal. This was confirmed by Africafoot on Tuesday, and they revealed some of the reasons for the decision.
A statement on the official website reads as follows: “AC Milan are delighted to announce that Victor Ehuwa Eletu has signed a contract with the Club until 30 June 2027, with the option of another year.
“The 2005-born centre-midfielder will continue his journey with the Rossoneri and will be part of the Milan Futuro squad.”
