AC Milan have announced that yet another young talent has signed their first senior deal, this time Yanis Messaoudi.
The likes of Matteo Geroli, Astin Mbaye, Fabio Pandolfi, Simon La Mantia, Victor Eletu and Lorenzo Ossola all signed their first professional contracts in recent months, and there were three more announcements more recently.
Vincent Ibrahimovic and Andrea Cullotta penned senior contracts last week, while Luca Nolli was the most recent to do so. Now, there is another name to add to the list.
A statement on the official website reads as follows: “AC Milan is delighted to announce that Yanis Messaoudi has signed his first professional contract. The 2009-born defender will remain a part of the Milan Futuro project, an initiative dedicated to the development of young talent.”
The 16-year-old was born in France but has Algerian citizenship. He has played seven times for the U17 team this season, scoring one goal. The teenager plays mostly as a centre-back, on either side of a pairing.
