It seems that AC Milan will lose one of the gems of the youth ranks this summer, with Mattia Liberali looking for an exit.

The handling of young players by Milan last season has certainly had an effect on things. Francesco Camarda had a year wasted, whilst Liberali’s situation was also massively mishandled, resulting in an imminent move away.

There have been a few options, and it is hoped that the Rossoneri could get some benefit from his exit. Perhaps, including him in a deal, directly or indirectly, for Giovanni Leoni from Parma. However, it remains to be seen.

Exit-bound

What is known, though, is that he will leave this summer. He has no interest in a renewal, so his future has already been written. Last night, on YouTube, Matteo Moretto spoke about his situation, and what options are present for the departing starlet, as @Garante_Il has relayed on X today.

“By now, we’ve figured it out together over these months, I’ve told you time and again: Liberali is on his way out, they’re looking for the right project to help him grow, one that can give him the right amount of playing time. The project will be key in Liberali’s choice.

“In addition to Parma, there are three other teams interested in Liberali: Empoli, Venezia, and Cagliari. The decision does not seem to be imminent, but I expect that a choice could be made as early as next week.”
