AC Milan’s accountant has been pretty busy this season, at least when it comes to sending fine money to Lega Serie A.
With the 22nd round of Serie A action now over, the Sporting Judge has communicated his decisions which also affect Milan, as there are two new players on the waiting list who are at risk of suspension and another fine has arrived.
Zacharu Athekame and Adrien Rabiot are the two players who have received four yellow cards this season. They join Youssouf Fofana on the list of those who are one more caution away from having to serve a one-game ban.
Lukasz Skorupski – who was sent off in the second half of Bologna’s collapse against Genoa – will miss the game on February 3 at the Stadio Renato Dall’Ara as his one-match suspension was confirmed.

Fines on top of fines
There was a final part to the Judge’s statement: “A fine of €15,000.00: to AC MILAN for strict liability, for having unjustifiably caused a delay of approximately two minutes to the start of the match; repeated and continued recidivism.”
As MilanNews write, this is a running theme for the 2025-26 season so far. According to their calculations, the Rossoneri have been fined a cumulative total of €73,000 this season, with Sunday’s being the heaviest.
In total, the Rossoneri have been fined eight times in the league (€65,000 in total) and once in the Coppa Italia (€8,000). Here’s a breakdown of the fines paid by C Milan so far this season:
➤ Round 2: Lecce vs. Milan – €4,000
➤ Round 3: Milan vs. Bologna – €5,000
➤ Round 4: Udinese vs. Milan – €3,000
