Pavlovic reveals first impressions of Singapore plus desire to ‘work hard and prepare well’

AC Milan defender Strahinja Pavlovic insists that the preseason tour will be about preparing for a testing season ahead.

There have been plenty of double sessions in the heat of the Milanello sun to get the players moving through the gears, but now things are about to dial up a gear with some friendlies to come as part of a Far East tour.

Massimiliano Allegri wants a group that are in top condition physically, and the games against Arsenal on Wednesday plus Liverpool at the weekend will certainly be indicators of where the team are at fitness-wise.

Pavlovic spoke to journalists in the lobby of the Singapore hotel – including a correspondent from La Gazzetta dello Sport – about the atmosphere at the start of the Asian tour.

“Being here in Singapore is wonderful. We’ve already felt the great support of our fans since the moment we arrived. We want to work hard and prepare well for the season,” he said (via MilanNews).

As part of the tour though, Milan plan to connect with the fan base that they have in the region too through fan experiences – like meet and greets – in Singapore, Hong Kong, and Perth.
