Pellegati discusses 12th man return ahead of Milan-Napoli: “All their heart”

Carlo Pellegatti, today, has spoken about the return of the Curva Sud to San Siro for this evening’s game, where Napoli face AC Milan.

There are several exciting things ahead of tonight’s game, and the biggest is certainly the outcome. This is a game that could really establish Milan as a team on the rise under Massimiliano Allegri; alternatively, it could be a very quick comedown to earth.

Conte’s Scudetto-winning team last year are certainly comparable to Allegri’s Rossoneri team. A side that underwhelmed in the previous season and had a summer makeover. Now, they at least need to return to the Champions League.

However, a title battle would not be turned down, and that is what tonight’s game could open up.

Pellegatti’s view on the Curva return

To support a potential title fight, the Curva Sud will look to help the stadium feel a lot more like home, rather than an away ground like it normally has this season. So, Pellegatti spoke about the game and their return on his YouTube channel, as relayed by PianetaMilan.

“Milan-Napoli, the Curva Sud boys have always been there with all their heart. What was missing was the vocal affection; finally, they’re back with the chants too. Against Fiorentina, the flags and banners will also return. We’re not playing 11 against 11, but we have the twelfth man, the San Siro support.”
