Carlo Pellegatti, today, has stated that he is confident that Sandro Tonali will return to AC Milan in the next few years.

Tonali moving back to Milan is one of the biggest topics in Italian transfers right now. It seems inevitable that he will return to the Rossoneri one day, but everyone wants to know when. An agonising wait, but one that would, for many, be worth it.

Pellegatti’s confidence

“I’m quite sure, not next year or the next few years, Milan doesn’t have the money for Tonali’s transfer fee and salary. I’m sure, though, that he will return to Milan, he wants to return to Milan.

“I don’t know at what age, but he wants to end his career at Milan, maybe even as captain.
