Francesco Camarda is not a new name to AC Milan, and the striker is growing in notice across European football.
The starlet has been deemed the next big thing for Milan and Italy, and his future looks tremendously bright, and it may be easy to forget that. His first appearance for the Rossoneri came in November 2023, at the age of 15.
Now, after some struggle, there have certainly been some worries about what the future holds. However, he and the club have remained positive.
Heartwarming moment
Zlatan Ibrahimovic, especially, has been ensuring that the youngster is allowed to progress at a rate right for him and the club, rather than one or the other. In fact, he has been tasked with keeping an eye on him.
So, his endorsement of the striker after his first goal is something beautiful to see, especially with the message.
In 2019, the striker messaged Ibrahimovic on Instagram, as he shared on his social media accounts, seen below.
“I am Italian and I’m a big fan of AC Milan. You are a big champion. Thank you for coming to AC Milan. I would like to know you; you are my hero. I play for Milan and my name is Francesco Camarda.”
Ibrahimovic’s reply arrived almost six years on, stating that now everyone knows his name, not just him.
