Photo: Leao reacts to 2-2 draw against Parma on social media – “Step by step”

Rafael Leao was one of the goalscorers for AC Milan in their 2-2 draw against Parma last night. Earlier today, the No.10 shared a message with the fans on social media. 

Leao and his teammates had the opportunity to put pressure on their rivals at the top, while asserting themselves in the Scudetto race. However, the outcome was the opposite as they not only dropped points, but also showed that they still have a long way to go.

Various pundits and newspapers have been highlighting this morning that Milan aren’t ready to compete for the Scudetto yet, and thus should focus on the Champions League. At Milanello, meanwhile, the whole team and especially Max Allegri have always viewed it as a process.

On his Instagram account, being one of the few Milan players to post something today, Leao strengthened this view by publishing some photos with the caption ‘step by step’. In short, the players haven’t given up just because of the draw and will continue to fight for the remainder of the season.
