AC Milan drew against Roma last night, and whilst it was a frustrating game, it was a special one for one player.
There can be several faults plucked from the Milan performance against Roma. Ultimately, the Rossoneri must be better going forward, and whilst it is another game unbeaten, they are not getting the wins required.
Not losing is all well and good, but when wins are there for the taking and missed, it becomes problematic.
De Winter celebrates
The goal this season has not changed, so there will not be a meltdown at Milanello when the squad return to training. However, there has undoubtedly been a shift in the Scudetto race recently, and that has not been towards the red side of Milano.
Despite this, it was a game to celebrate for Koni De Winter, who scored his first Rossoneri goal after arriving at the club in the summer. He has been widely criticised since the move to San Siro, but he is gradually raising his level.
On his Instagram, he posted a message and a few photos after his goal.
“Happy to score my first goal for such a wonderful club!🔴⚫️”
