Photos: Milan players react to Cagliari win on social media – “Never left”

AC Milan clinched an important win away at Cagliari last night, giving the players a perfect start to the year. Sure enough, at least based on the social media reactions, they were in good spirits after the game. 

Milan headed into the game knowing that a win would send them to the top of the standings, putting pressure on Inter to do the same against Bologna on Sunday. Thanks to a goal from Rafael Leao in the second half, the Rossoneri succeeded in their mission.

It wasn’t always pretty, but they got the job done and fought hard as a team, which is exactly why this win could be very important in hindsight. In any case, the players were very happy with the results and shared some messages with the fans on social media.
