Andriy Shevchenko was in Milan yesterday and he took the opportunity to meet up with some old friends, including the likes of Paolo Maldini and Adriano Galliani.
It’s been a while since Shevchenko last put on the AC Milan shirt, but he’s still one of the most recognisable faces when it comes to the club. With just 175 goals, this isn’t exactly a surprise and definitely deserved, not to mention his Scudetto and Champions League title.
Another player who has made a mark on this club is Maldini, of course, and he has always kept in contact with Shevchenko since they stopped playing. Yesterday, as the Ukrainian striker was in Milan, he made sure to meet the Rossoneri legend.

In addition to Maldini, Mauro Tassotti (former player and manager) was also in the image. Tassotti was Shevchenko’s assistant coach both for Ukraine and Genoa, so the two clearly have a very strong bond.
Then, Shevchenko also met with Adriano Galliani and Ariedo Braida, two legendary directors for Milan.
