‘Probably the strongest’ – Massara believes his Milan players are Allegri’s best

Frederic Massara is now the sporting director of Roma, but before he worked alongside Paolo Maldini at AC Milan, winning the Scudetto.

There are several players in the current Milan team that were brought by Massara. After all, his time at the club only ended in 2023, so several players are still enjoying their cycle with the Rossoneri, and it is not a massively lengthy amount of time.

In addition to this, there can be a lot said about this team, and how it has transformed in recent years. However, since he left, few have really established themselves, so the already brilliant names have only been further strengthened.

The likes of Rafael Leao and Mike Maignan would have been the best players at the club had he left before 2023 or after it.

Massara’s Milan

Massara’s work with the Rossoneri cannot be discredited, and before yesterday’s game, he offered his opinion on the differences in the team since he left.

“It’s a wonderful feeling to return to San Siro and find a club with which I have such wonderful memories. I have to say that there have been many changes in the team [that won the Scudetto], there are still some survivors, and they are probably the strongest. It’s always nice to come back here, it’s a great feeling,” he told DAZN (via MilanNews).
