The big news of the last 24 hours connected to AC Milan is that Mike Maignan is all set to put pen to paper on a new contract.

In the past few days, rumours about Maignan’s renewal have gone so far as to talk about agreements being in place. It is believed to be a new five-year deal, therefore running until 2031, and it will see Maignan become the joint-highest earlier in the squad alongside Rafael Leao.

Fabrizio Romano even tweeted on Saturday: “Milan and Mike Maignan reach verbal agreement over new deal until June 2031! Formal steps to follow but deal in place for French GK who was out of contract in June 2026. Huge move for Milan with Maignan seen as key player.”
