In the latest Pub Chat episode, Lorenzo and Stefano discussed the significant impact of Luka Modric and Adrien Rabiot in Milan and Massimiliano Allegri’s 3-5-2 formation.

Aside from Ardon Jashari, who was the most expensive midfield addition, Modric and Rabiot were the big signings for Milan’s midfield this summer. Despite arriving on deadline day, joining the team after the first international break, the Frenchman is already a starter.

Together with the Croatian, he has been able to complete transfrom the Milan midfield. If Modric is the player who picks out the passes and directs his teammates, then Rabiot is the player who moves between the lines and picks out the right spaces to operate in.
