Pub Chat with Lorenzo and Stefano: Post-mercato predictions

Now that the transfer window has closed, Lorenzo and Stefano provide their predictions for the 2025-26 season, from the Scudetto winner to Milan’s breakout performer.

The transfer market was a lively one for the Rossoneri, with ten signings made and a plethora of sales completed. Subsequently, it was quite difficult to make good predictions before the window came to an end, especially since two deadline-day signings were made.

While you could argue David Odogu’s arrival doesn’t move the needle much, the same cannot be said for Adrien Rabiot. The Frenchman is one of Max Allegri’s favourite players and he will likely get a key role this season, adding a lot of quality and experience.

In any case, Lorenzo and Stefano went through their initial predictions for the 2025-26 season. They decided to keep most of them but also made some changes based on the mercato, explaining how the mercato business and start of the season have affected their stances.
