Christian Pulisic was the big hero for AC Milan in their 2-1 win against Napoli, and after the game, he shared his thoughts with the media.

Pulisic was named the MOTM in our player ratings, though that is no surprise as he got the assist for the first goal and then scored the second goal himself. In short, he continued his red-hot form and you could make the argument that he’s the best player in the league right now.

After the game, he was intercepted by DAZN (via MilanNews) and briefly shared his thoughts on the performance. Above all, he praised the team for the collective defending towards the end when Napoli really searched for a second goal.

On the game…

“The sacrifices we made today were incredible, even the way we defended after the red card… Top, top.”

On the new additions…

“The coach has done a great job of bringing out the best in every player. With Modric and Rabiot, we have a lot of quality, and we’re showing it on the pitch.”

It should be noted that Pulisic was a doubt for this game, as revealed by Max Allegri just before kick-off. The American didn’t feel well yesterday but recovered enough for today, so the manager decided to start him after all.
