AC Milan star Christian Pulisic has taken to social media to reassure fans about his recovery from injury.
Pulisic had made the best possible start to the season, scoring four goals and providing two assists in his first six league games. The American was thriving under the new coach Massimiliano Allegri, but just as things were getting going, he suffered a hamstring injury on international duty.
The estimated recovery time is around three weeks. This means that Pulisic could return for the match against Parma on November 8th or at the latest after the November international break, which means he would be ready for the derby on November 23rd.
Meanwhile, the former Chelsea man took to Instagram to reassure fans about his condition, posting on his story: “It’s been a tough couple weeks. But recovery is going great and I’m hungry to get back out there.”
