Rabiot’s mother-agent responds emphatically to question on Milan being first choice – video

Adrien Rabiot’s mother-agent Veronique has insisted that AC Milan were the first choice destination for her son.

It is very much ‘Rabiot Day’ for the midfielder and for Milan. After signing on deadline day and then instantly reporting for France duty, the former Marseille man will get a first taste of Milanello and will hope to get himself ready to play a part against Bologna on Sunday.

Rabiot’s mother – who is also his representative in negotiations – was present as he landed at Milan Malpensa airport. As MilanNews recall, she was asked: “Was Milan the first choice for your son to come to Milan?”

The response was emphatic: “Certainly, certainly it was the first choice.” Rabiot himself also revealed that he is ‘very happy’ to have completed the switch.
