Fabio Ravezzani shared his thoughts after AC Milan’s win against Udinese and decided to highlight two midfielders, who are very much behind the success.
It was a strong performance from start to finish by the Rossoneri, who didn’t rush things against Udinese at Stadio Friuli. Once the deadlock was broken, however, the floodgates were opened and the game was controlled by the away side.
Speaking on Telelombardia’s YouTube channel after the game, the channel director and well-known journalist Fabio Ravezzani shared his thoughts. He not only praised the decision to stick with more or less the same starting XI, but also two of the midfielders.
“It must be said that Milan, under Allegri, have clear ideas and have identified a starting eleven in Rafael Leao’s absence, making minimal changes.
“They still have a problem up front because Gimenez is in a huge mental crisis, but I have to say that Milan have two extraordinary players in midfield: one is Modric and the other is Rabiot.
“They are the two professors at the heart of the team. They manage to make the rest of the midfield and the entire team work wonderfully.
“With them on the pitch, Milan can go very far, without forgetting the high-level alternatives. One is Ricci and the other is Jashari,” he stated.
You could definitely argue that the Rossoneri have one of the best midfields, if not the best, midfield in Serie A. Most of us perhaps saw Modric’s importance coming but it’s also been nice to see Rabiot adapt so quickly.
