Liverpool legend Jurgen Klopp has been linked with an exit from the Red Bull group, where he is currently working as head of global soccer for the energy drinks giant

Red Bull Sports CEO Oliver Mintzlaff has laughed off suggestions that Jurgen Klopp could be tempted to take a different job elsewhere after being questioned on how he could prevent such a scenario.
When Liverpool was in a poor run of form under Arne Slot, there were suggestions that Klopp could be asked to return, though there is no suggestion that was ever actually something under consideration. The Reds legend has frequently been put forward as a likely option for the German national team job as well.
However, Mintzlaff says that Klopp is very happy working with the Red Bull group, where he is currently the head of global soccer, overseeing the various clubs within the drinks giant's roster.

"The national team must be incredibly happy with Julian Nagelsmann every single day. I’m certain that he, together with Rudi Voller (the DFB sporting director) will create the conditions for a successful World Cup. Anything else is irrelevant.
"Jurgen Klopp feels completely at home with us and has already learned an enormous amount here. There is no release clause in his contract, and he has clearly committed to us.

"He has no intention of looking for anything else. If something were to come along, we would have to deal with it. But there are absolutely no indications of that."
In November, former Liverpool midfielder Didi Hamann suggested that Klopp could return to Anfield when Slot was under pressure. Results since then, however, have been much improved.
"Many are already longing for Jurgen Klopp's return," Hamann claimed in a chat with Sky Germany. "If you ask the fans, many will surely say, ‘That would be something.’
"How likely is it that he'll return to Liverpool? I have no idea. But it would be the story of the decade. The club will already have considered alternative managers. I assume they've spoken with Klopp.

"I believe Arne Slot has lost control of the team. It's falling apart, everyone is doing what they want, like [Mohamed] Salah before PSV's second goal.
"Liverpool will have major problems finishing in the Premier League top four. I don't believe these problems can be solved quickly or easily. The situation is so complex that the club will certainly be discussing the manager's position."
Liverpool.com says: Klopp seems to be enjoying life in his new role. He has more time to do the things that he enjoys and is still involved in soccer. That is a nice balance, especially after such a demanding period at Anfield.
