AC Milan could guarantee a sale in the summer with Samuel Chukwueze impressing during his current loan spell with Fulham.
It never really clicked for Chukwueze in Milan. He arrived with the world seemingly ahead of him, an exciting dynamic winger who was coming off a fantastic season in Spain, ready to take the next step. Yet, it was never taken.
In fact, within weeks of him signing, he was second fiddle to Christian Pulisic, understandably. When given chances, he never really impressed, despite it seeming like a corner was going to be turned. Sometimes that is how football goes, though.
Several options there
So, when he departed in the summer, it was not a surprise, especially with Massimiliano Allegri preferring wing-backs to wingers.
It is even less surprising that Fulham had an option to buy included within the deal, which is expected to be in the region of €30 million. Indeed, a fee that would go a long way for the Rossoneri in the summer.

However, there is no confirmation yet on the Cottagers’ stance, but there might not need to be.
As Fichajes reports, via Caught Offside, West Ham United and Crystal Palace have taken a keen interest in his situation and for the Diavolo, they do not care where he goes, really, as long as they get the €30m they hoped for when he left in the summer.
