Report: Milan have collected more points than anyone in the ‘big matches’ this season

There has been a lot said about the direction of AC Milan recently, and the stats also back these claims up, as a report shows.

No one wants to get carried away just yet; however, it is growing difficult not to at this point. Ultimately, Milan are sitting in a position of great strength, and whilst they still have tests to come, confidence is growing.

The Derby della Madonnina is the last game that the Rossoneri have to face inside the top six, and so far their record is almost flawless. They have gotten 10 points from a possible 12, only dropping points away to Juventus.

Milanisti Channel, though, only looks at the games against Napoli, Roma and the Old Lady, and this still is fantastic. Seven points from a possible nine is better than any other ‘big team’ in Serie A, and it only further cements to Scudetto statistics.

Last season, there was a real issue against the teams around the European places, but this has not been the case with Allegri. Instead, there have been suggestions that the struggles are against sides towards the bottom.

Either way, all that matters is that the Diavolo are in a position to be in the Scudetto discussion. Something that will hopefully be further proven this weekend.
