Sergio Ramos is looking to find a new club in Europe to continue his illustrious career, and he has reportedly been offered to AC Milan.

Several reliable sources have reported in the past few days Ramos has decided to bring an end to his spell with Monterrey and is hoping for a big club that can boost his World Cup hopes, however slim they might be.

Fabrizio Romano also stated earlier on Monday that the Spanish centre-back is ‘100%’ open to the idea of a move to Serie A, and that he hopes to have a Luka Modric-style impact somewhere.

Ramos open to Milan move

MilanNews report that Ramos’ agents – ahead of the January transfer window – are looking around and are offering him to several clubs to try and line up his next move.

Among the teams to receive a call are Milan, who are looking for a new defender for the second half of this season. Ramos’ contract with Monterrey expires on 31 December 2025, meaning he would be a free transfer.

Calciomercato.com also write that Milan are considering the possibility of ‘signing an experienced player’ for the defensive department, hence the links with a potential return for Thiago Silva (41 years old) that emerged.

The Brazilian has a contract with Fluminense until June 2026 but is also intending to move away in January to be closer to his family, who live in London. Based on the assessments that the management and Allegri will make over the next few weeks, Ramos could be a rival candidate.
