Reports: Fullkrug has suitcase packed ready for Milan medical – the next steps

Niclas Fullkrug did not play for West Ham this weekend, thanks to his seemingly imminent transfer to AC Milan. He is certainly waiting readily. 

When a transfer is as close as Fullkrug’s, things can move quickly. Of course, given the speed of the deal anyway, this has been shown more. The German has been an idea for a while, but things have accelerated in the past few days.

An official offer was sent this week, and now, after the inclusion of a buy clause, he is ready to join Milan. In fact, reports suggest that the deal will be wrapped up in the next 24 hours, way before the 2026 deadline that was ‘set’ by the club.

Fullkrug ready to fly

The striker is certainly keen for the move to happen, and he has prioritised a move to Italy over other opportunities. In fact, as MilanNews relays, he already has his bags packed, ready to fly for his medical, as soon as he is given the green light.

It is, again, a case of waiting, with tomorrow looking like a pivotal day, but it is even suggested that he could find out when his medical checks will take place. Certainly a case of when, not if, at this point.
